ROC (Taiwan) President Helps China in Its East, South China Sea Claims

Reuters and some other Western media would rather there are two Chinas or one China one Taiwan so that China would be a little smaller and weaker without Taiwan, but that is their wishful thinking. For the KMT now in power in Taiwan, it has had a consensus with the CCP on Chinese mainland that there is only one China but either of them may have its own interpretation of the one China, i.e. the CCP regards PRC (the People’s Republic of China) as the one China while KMT regards ROC (the Republic of China) as the one China. For the DPP that will soon come in power, it respects ROC constitution that provides there is only one China.
Therefore, China and Taiwan have identical claims in the East and South China Seas as they both are China.
That is why ROC (Taiwan) President Ma Ying-jeou visits Taiping and Pengjia Islands to uphold China’s (i.e. PRC’s and ROC’s) sovereignty to the disputed islands and waters. During Ma’s visit to the Taiping Island, he showed reporters fresh well water on the island to indicate that Taiping is not an uninhabitable rock but an inhabitable island to rebuff Philippines’ claim that the Spratlys are uninhabitable rocks. Obviously, President Ma did that to support PRC’s claim.

People on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are brothers who follow Confucius’ teachings.

Ma Ying Jeou is not only Chinese but born in Kowloon, HK therefore a citizen of HK but having been born post 1949 would now make him also a citizen of the PRC. Under international law Ma is about as HK Chinese and a national of the PRC as I am.

You don’t have to be born in Chinese territories to be a Chinese, or to hold PRC or ROC citizenship to be Chinese. When the West decided to attack China, they won’t see the difference between Chinese citizens or non Chinese citizens. All Chinese are fair go regardless borders.

True – when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour innocent Japanese Citizens living in US were robbed, spat on, sworn at and manhandled. Some were imprisoned and properties stolen. If a military confrontation breaks out between US and China, the Chinese citizens in the US will be fair game especially when owning a gun is like buying candy.

Lot of Filipinos particularly the elite and their poltiticians are ethnic Chinese, how come they siding with the Yanks? Problems is Chinese and plastic Chinese have been fighting each other throughout history. What I’m saying is Ma Ying Jeou is not only ethnically but also legally by law a PRC national because he was born post 1949 when PRC and ROC split and in a terrtory now under PRC rule.

The political conditions in Phillipines are actually very similar to Indonesia in pro-American era. This is a very common American/British tactic. Only people who live through this ordeal could understanding it. Back then, many Chinese Indonesian politicians and businessmen were forced to spit on China and their heritage in order to prove their patriotism. They have to prove that they cut their ties with their heritage and be an ultra-nationalistic citizens. Failure to do so would incur losing their political standing and businesses, and also relentless attacks politically, physically and sexually on them and their families day and night. Every pro-American regime has a pro-American sadistic mobs. These thugs would assault and lynch anyone they consider enemies of the regime. The police would do nothing to stop them and the regime would announce that their actions are ‘people actions’ to punish their ‘betrayals’. In order to fund these mobs, they were allowed to extort money from Chinese businesses so they were financially sustain indefinitely. There is a documentary about these mobs called THE ACT OF KILLING by Danish filmmaker Joshua Oppenheimer. He did not reveal American involvement, of course, but his documentary was very detailed on the mobs. Even now, when Indonesian regime is friendly to China and not so friendly to the West, the remnants of these mobs still remain although losing their backing. Many of them become politicians and continue to cause trouble, hoping their American master would one day come back to once again support their reign of terror. The event in Philippines showed them that the American did indeed come back and emboldened them. As the result many Chinese Indonesian politicians are still weary to openly side against the West, or to be precise, against these mobs. So far, I know that Chinese Filipino were facing similar ordeal under pro-American Marcos regime. With the Philippines government is now once again pro-American, it is logical to assume that they revive their pro-American mobs as well. And the best way for the Chinese Filipino to avoid them is to leave the country, or go along with them, for their safety.

True – at that time both Malaysia and Indonesia had similar ideas. Indonesian Chinese are basically forced to accept Malay names. In Malaysia during the May 13 Riot in 197?? thousands of Chinese were slaughtered including school children. Indonesia had the same problem of genocide where ethnic Chinese were intentionally killed due to racism and jealousy. Chinese people residing in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines are the economic backbone of these countries.

According to a report stated that President Ma intend to retire in Mainland China. He can do this because he is automatically a Chinese Citizen of China? Post 1949? I would assume he is also a passport holder of Taiwan being a President. Can a Taiwanese hold both passports of Taiwan and HK?

PRC national can apply for citizenship and run for presidency in ROC. Seem Ma has dual passport, he is a HK citizen and since he is born in Kowloon like myself and not in HK island he has upgraded permanent resident status. As HK citizen MA is defacto a PRC national.

Blood is thicker than well water. Chinese blood on both sides should unite against any foreign interventionist gunboat diplomacy to divide and conquer. Taiwanese should be very proud to call themselves ‘I am a Chinese’ first rather than just taiwanese. No difference to a Shanghainese, Cantonese or Hokkien and so on. President Ma should be given an official post in the CCP after his retirement as the Provincial Island President. After reunification, the highest head in Taiwan should be a Provincial or State Governor.
