In its report titled “China’s new stealth fighter another step toward completion” yesterday, SCMP provides the above photo of a J-20 it believes to be a product of such production as the J-20 “was painted in gray and marked with no identifiable serial numbers — it was reported that one of the few noticeable markings on the fighter was a toned-down version of the national insignia.”

There has been speculation about such production before completion of development as that is the fourth such J-20 seen by web users. However, there has no official confirmation so far in Chinese media or the producer’s website.

The J 20 featured is an early prototype maybe from 2012-13.

Meanwhile, the F-35 is being quietly mothballed. It practically disappears from the news. The solution for F-35 is really simple actually, just make the heavy butt F-35 into heavy fighter like J-20. They blocked Chinese scientists out of the project, and the project got blocked out. I wonder what becomes of F-35 when J-35 come out.
