China’s official military forum mil.huanqiu.com posts in its report today some photos of China’s garrisons on the artificial islands it has built in the South China Sea. I repost some of them here. The most interesting is the first photo of officers operating a radar on Gaven Reefs. There has been Western media speculation that a radar is being built on Gaven Reefs. We now have a photo to confirm that.

What China do is very normal. Vietnam have over 2500 troops on the Spratlys and Philippines have her Marines on Thitu island. Taiwan have arm force personnel on Taiping island as well. US/PH should shut up and accept the fact the Chinese soldiers are there solely to defend the islands.

Great Post – but Colonel He Yonghong ‘forgot’ to post the type of missiles loaded on those islands. These soldiers will have the best and healthiest Lungs living on those islands. Imagine fresh seafood everyday and ocean wilderness.
