China’s official military forum mil.huanqiu.com says in its report yesterday that Chinese air force chief General Ma Xiaotian says Chinese air force has greatly enhanced its long-range strike capabilities, but there will be further greatly improvement in the future. “We are now developing a new generation of long-range strike bomber, which you will see in the future”.

Gen. Ma said that in reply to a question about the development of Chinese bombers when he was attending Chinese air force’s public activities on September 1.

On the same day, he said when he met 1,100 recruits of PLA Air Force Aviation University in Changchun, Jilin province that Chinese air force is now at a transformation stage. Its goal is to build a powerful air force with integrated space and air capabilities for both attack and defense.

Since Chinese President gave Chinese air force the instruction on stepping up the development of an air force with integrated space and air capabilities for both attack and defense in 2014, I have given my speculation on China’s development of aerospace bomber in my book “Space Era Strategy: The Way China Beats The U.S.”

At that time, it was but my speculation but later developments prove that I was right in making such speculation. (See my posts “China Developing Hypersonic Aerospace Strategic Bomber” on November 9, 2014, “The Mystery of China’s Hypersonic Flying Vehicle” on September 27, 2015, “China Successful Test Flight of Mach 4.5 Aircraft Using New Scramjet” on March 17, 2016, “China Surpasses US in HGV to Develop Prompt Strike Aerospace Bomber” on May 2, 2016 and “China’s Aerospace Bomber Able to Sink Aircraft Carrier Battle Group in Minutes” on August 11, 2016.)

Therefore, my readers knew long ago that China is developing long-range bomber only US military strategy illiterates are still obsessed in regarding China’s strategy as A2/AD. China has published its defense white paper telling the world its active defense strategy.

Active defense is attack for defense. Understand? Strategy illiterates.

I have repeated in my posts that only when China has obtained the capabilities of conventional counterattack at US homeland can it prevent US attack of its homeland.

Aerospace bombers are precisely such weapons of active defense.
