China’s Quantum Satellite Passed Test, Delivered to UserPosted: January 21, 2017
Mil.huanqiu.com says in its report yesterday that China’s world first quantum satellite has passed four months of tests and been delivered to its user.
The satellite is now connected to ground communication stations at Xinlong, Hebei; Delhi, Qinghai; Ali, Tebet; and Lijiang, Yunnan. The above are photos and pictures that describe the connection between the satellite and those quantum communication ground stations.
Quantum communication is most secure as it cannot be hacked. The US has only established a two-node quantum communication network between White House and Pentagon while China has established not only multi-node quantum communication network linking quite a few places on earth, but also satellite quantum communication network linking remote areas.
