CHINA has revealed a new ray-gun weapon which can paralyse entire tank divisions, make fighter planes fall from the sky and fry fleets of warships without even firing a shot.

CHINA: Scientists have developed a ‘microwave’ cannon to fry enemy electronics

War between the US and China is brewing as the Pacific superpower’s military chiefs have already declared that open conflict with new US President Donald Trump is a “reality”.

But now their deadliest weapon yet has been revealed – an electronic device designed for use on a drone which can totally disable the systems of tanks, warships and warplanes.

American modern warfare specialist Peter Warren Singer told Daily Star Online about the terrifying new device.

Top Chinese scientists have been working on it for more than six-years and their device recently won China’s National Science and Technology Progress Award.

The weapon was unveiled by Huang Wenhua and the team at the Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology in Xi’an.

The ray gun is small enough to be strapped to a missile or drone and could be a game-changing weapon in modern warfare.

Microwave weapons blast electronic systems and shut them down with devastating consequences.

The device has been hailed as the “new chapter” in Chinese electronic warfare as it is “small enough to be convenient, but powerful enough to totally down enemy electronics”, Singer said.

“Microwave weapons open up new possibilities, both for the defence and the offence, he told Daily Star Online.

“You could paralyse targeted tanks or planes, but, in turn, incoming drones or missiles might be taken out.”

Singer said the weapons can only impact “machines directly” but added “it wouldn’t be fun to be flying a plane to have its electronics taken out”.

He said there are “many possibilities” for deployment but that “missiles and drones” are the most likely vehicles for the microwave cannon.

Singer added: “China are a clear global power and have made massive investments in science and technology. Indeed, they are on their way to displacing Russia in global arms trade.”

Threat of open war between China and the US is rising as experts warned if “trade stops, war starts” and Trump continues to talk up cutting ties with Beijing.

Singer said: “War was a risk before Trump’s election and even more of a risk if he keeps injecting so much chaos into the global system.

“Both his advsior Bannon and, in turn, Chinese generals have spoken of it – I’m not a fan obviously.”

Daily Star Online revealed the looming conflict flashpoint in the South China Sea which is just one “miscalculation” away from sparking World War 3.

If this arms race continue to escalate, taxpayers all over the world must surely at the end of it all, ask – “Where is this going? All counter, counter-counter, counter-counter-counter military weapons expenditure is going? When is it going to end? How much money has, or will continue to be wasted at the end of it all to ensure all potential warring parties are back at square one with no clear advantage to anyone?

If blame is to be assigned, blame the office of the POTUS and its Administration team, and Washington. This need to build an empire, to soothe its power-crazed and outsized egos, and the building therefore of an armed forces six times bigger and more powerful and deadlier than the combined budgets and efforts of the next six countries. Such vainglorious ego.

America, thy pride is before its fall now. You can’t win a arms race. You are already broke. Since 1975.

Save the world, save the world’s hard earned monies. Let China, Russia put their monies to better use instead of having to waste on arms that may never be used or, if used, will blow the world and humanity out of existence. So climb down from your warrring primitiviteness and brainless behaviour and deny observing extra terrestrials the opportunity to say “See, I told you so. These humans are so backward they are beyond help and redemption. They may just cause their own extinction. Maybe it’s better we wait for another species to emerge which may be a better candidate to help advance to a higher plane of consciousness. These humans are unworthy humans, especially the Americans.”

Well, Mr “change-manager” Trump, the ball is in your court.

If we end up having a nuclear winter, then we as a species have all failed. China as the only surviving civilisation state bears a heavier burden of history. Much longer than the pharaohs, the Greeks and in recent times the anglosphere nations. The Chinese are not fearful of wars and conflicts because its history books bears testimony to countless wars throughout the millenniums. She is battle harden. But the Chinese also knows wars are futile – a waste of human capital and the destruction of communities and sometimes nations. We have to be smarter than that. The Chinese have to show the world there are better alternatives than war and misery.

So, how do we deal with a declining hegemon unable to come to terms with sharing? Knowing full well as times passes, its projection of brute power diminishes as countervailing
forces steps up to challenge its dominance.

China has been doing 2 things concurrently:
      1. Relentless pursue of economic progress within plus driving economic integration across nations and continents. OBOR, AIIB, Russia/China co-op, CPEC, EEU, BRICS, yuan inclusion in SDR etc etc are directed to that goal. China have excess capital and has been deploying these assets that’s a win-win for parties involved. No matter how ideolgical driven oneself is, the food bowl will always have the “loudest cry”. When sufficient number of nations sees the benefits of China’s economic policies, going to war just doesn’t make sense.

      2. China still have to deal with the gorilla in the room – US military. Modernisaton of China’s armed forces over the past 20 years have been phenomenal. A task that’s necessary to safeguard its sovereignty and deter naked aggression from the Pentagon. The pointed tip of US power projection seats with its naval battle groups. The annihilation of these naval CBGs
therefore must be the top priority of Chinese military planners. Only when China have the capacity to sink these US assets and destroy US bases within the Pacific rim will the Pentagon be less trigger happy.

China also has to do 2 other tasks.

A submarine based nuclear counter strike opinion towards the US mainland. Nothing wakes up the US war hawks better than the destruction of US cities. A sort of MAD arrangement.

Finally, China has to deftly and diplomatically deal with the US as the uno hegemon declines. Nobody like to play second fiddle. The US is no different – if it has a choice. China’s task is therefore to engage the US, to demonstrate that US/China relationship does not have to be a zero-sum game. That a win-win is doable. That’s China’s task and responsibility to the world.

Who says China don’t produce enough high tech products. It’s just that China prefers to keep a low profile, hide the best and scare the Monkeys when the time is right.

Did the article state Trump continues to talk up cutting ties with Beijing.?
