It’s Time for Pentagon to Catch Up with China’s Weapon Development

CNBC says in its article “China’s ability to spend on weapons has the Pentagon eager to develop hypersonics as the US tries to catch up” that according to Mike Griffin, the Pentagon’s top engineer,

the US is lagging behind Russia and China in hypersonics. It quotes Griffin as saying, “We need to be able to not only match but to overmatch, especially the Chinese,”

How?

China has abundant funds while the US is hard up.

Chinese scientists and engineers are working 9 hours 6 days a week voluntarily. Do US ones have such enthusiasm in developing technology for their country?

However, CNBC says in the report, “The United States does not have a defense against hypersonic weapons, which can travel at least five times the speed of sound, or a little more than a mile per second. Combined with blistering speed, maneuverability and long-range flight, these weapons are difficult to track, target and defeat. Russia and China have sprinted to develop a variety of weapons of this caliber, sparking concerns that the U.S. will be outpaced on this front.”

The US is in trouble. It wants to attack Russia and China but now it will be unable to defend the counterattack of hypersonic weapons from Russia and China.

Engineers do work very hard and have a lot of pressure in America to meet deadlines. But I’m sure there are ones who don’t

Technically, engineering isn’t the practice of inventing technology, its about manufacturing products. Scientist study what is, like electron movement. Inventors take the understandings of science and find a way to benefit mankind with it, called technology, like making transistors from semi conductors. Engineers deal with manufacturing, putting different technologies together to overcome challenges. I suppose engineers can be inventors to.

If chinese engineers are working harder, with more motivation, I think i would attribute that a culture which may make it easier to pursue ideas and passions.

I don’t think American engineers and scientists care about deadline anymore. Most of them only care about turning up on the jobs and get paid. Yes, engineers can be inventors too with some motivations. However, there’s no motivation left in America today. Even if someone makes innovation, there must be some rich brats ready to take advantages. Some examples, Bill Gates was credited as the ‘genius’ who invented Microsoft Windows, but not many people know that he had no idea about computer programming. He was just a privileged rich brat with American political elite background who forcibly stole Microsoft Windows from its original developer in the 1980s, Steve Jobs. Jerry Yang innovated with Yahoo’s search engines, but the privileged rich brat, again, with American political elite background, Elon Musk would steal his idea to clone, or plagiarize his search engine with Google. Elon Musk’s political background is prominent to force NASA to give his Space X the knowhow to build space rocket, in which NASA is then forced to use Space X services expensively to ‘privately’ launch rockets. Some would call it daylight robbery on NASA. After paying Space X, is there any wonder why NASA does not have any budget left for anything else? With this kind of predatory exploitations? Would people be encouraged to innovate in America?

According to CNN report – the American and Australian research centre at the university of Sydney claims that the US military stationed in Asia will not be able to withstand China’s PLA first attack.
China’s superior military forces, missiles etc can easily overwhelm the US military bases in Asia within a few hours.

As early as November 2018, the US defence strategy committe reported to congress that US will suffer unacceptably high casualties and may struggle in a war against China or Russia (not both).

About time the Pacific Monkeys pack up and go home.

If the American has any chance against the Chinese today, would they disseminate so much disinformation about China? Recently, Australian prime minister Scott Morrison was told that he did not belong there among the Pacific Islanders who he claimed to be ‘family’. He was almost forced to leave Pacific Island Forum in Tuvalu if not for the presence of Australian Defence Force guarding, or rather menacing the summit there. It was because he demeaningly threw some $6 billion aids to the Pacific leaders and told them to disengage China. But the Pacific Island leaders rebuffed him about China being ‘bad’. Indeed, in the summit that the Pacific wanted to talk about climate changes that threatens to drown the Pacific, all the Australian wanted to talk about was fighting China. The Pacific nations said that climate change is a threat, not China. And Australia as a major coal exporter is a climate change supporters, thus part of the threat. They said that the Chinese are good people who never badmouthing other people the way the Australian and the American do to badmouth China. They said that China never insult the Pacific, unlike the Westerners who demand the Pacific to do what they said only because they threw in some meagre aids. And the Chinese certainly never comes to a Pacific summit with a military presence pointing guns on their heads the way the Australian does. They said further that one does not have to be a high school graduate to understand what the Westerners attitude towards China. In fact, China may be the only one fit to be the savior of the Pacific from the threat of drowning by climate change. With China’s expertise and experience of building artificial islands, they may help the Pacific to create artificial barrier to protect Pacific Islands from the raising sea level. But these kind of projects won’t be cheap that it can be funded with ‘aids’. The Pacific Islanders know this and they know that only healthy trades could work for their benefits, and survival. For the people who are often dismissed as ‘backward’ and ‘in need for aids’ the Pacific Islanders are actually smart and reasonable. They are certainly smarter than people who believe blatant disinformation by Western propaganda.

The Aust PM is a Monkey because he still thinks that Pacific islanders are naturally stupid like him. Australia discriminated against the Pacific islanders for decades. Only provided the Pac Islanders with Christian missionaries and some medical aids. Sometimes I wondered how these Pac Islanders contracted the real AIDS instead of medical aids. AndYes, the Chinese are now Masters in the art of dredging and building islands. The Pac Islanders should be heading towards Beijing and give Australia the boot. What can Australia do.? Flying doctors.? Unlike China, there is no Australian ingenuity except for vegemite and kangaroo meat.

Answer: Lets not forget the reality where the United States flew the first manned hypersonic aircraft, the X-15, to a speed of 4,520 mph That was on September 17, 1959. The world still waits for someone to break that record.

The key to defense against hypersonic weapons lies in beam and directed energy weapons. And the US navy has just deployed directed energy weapons starting with the destroyer Preble being the first U.S. Navy ship to integrate a laser weapon.

          Hypersonics are so yesterday.

Big deal American ballshiner – Your news is old, Go check ‘China is building world’s most powerful laser radar to study earth’s solar shield.’ China’s laser radar will have a range of 10 times the existing ones. Directed energy weapons (DEW) are just lasers, microwaves and particle beams. These are weapons that target personnel, missiles, vehicless, etc.. China has electromagnetic railgun that can blow the laser guns onboard including the warship. US don’t have the key against hypersonics, otherwise Pentagon won’t too worried about China’s advanced hypersonics.

Hypersonics are yesterday, today and future. US hypersonics and electromagnetic railgun research are almost defunct no money not enough brains.

If the hypersonics are so yesterday, then the American does not have a thing to worry about. So why are they so spooked with Chinese hypersonics? According to the website, USS Preble -will- be equipped with high energy weapon, not directed energy weapon. So even the American navy is not even sure when the USS Preble is scheduled to be equipped with the weapon. The American has tested ship-based laser weapons in the past. None was successful, otherwise they would have boasted the success. Considering how long the problem solving for American R&Ds, it may take decades for the USS Preble to receive its optical high energy weapon. I would quote optical because it was the only high energy weapons that the American ever tested. For the ‘directed’ energy weapon? Dream on. No one ever tests heat-based directed energy weapon outside the movie.

American ball shiner – the X15 is basically a rocket plane Cannot take off on its own. Whats the use of a manned aircraft that cant take off. Can only be dropped from a mothership high up in the clouds. U are talking about hypersonics. China has the fastest hypersonics. US hypersonic missile barely reach the speed of X15 and that was in 1959. This year is 2019. Go check out China’s hypersonics speed missiles up to 30 mach.

Lets not forget the reality that while the American flew the first manned hypersonic aircraft the X-15 on September 17, 1959, the American cannot even build and fly another hypersonic aircraft in August 17, 2019. So was the X-15 really a hypersonic aircraft at all? Had it ever been Independently verified and tested? 4,520mph might be just a random numbers. If the X-15 was really ‘hypersonic’, then it is easy for the American to build another hypersonic aircraft. Instead they can only boast that once upon a time in 1959, they had firstly build something that they can no longer built today.

According to this article the X-15 isn’t practical:
        https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.livescience.com/amp/61849-china-designs-hypersonic-plane.html

” Hypersonic aircrafts aren’t entirely new. The Air Force X-15, flown throughout the 1960s, hit peak speeds of 4,520 mph (7,274 km/h), or Mach 6.7, with human pilots. And spacecraft routinely hit extreme speeds during re-entry; the space shuttle used to hit the atmosphere at nearly Mach 25. But the X-15 design, which wasn’t a waverider, wasn’t practical. And spacecraft only bust into hypersonic speeds during re-entry due to the massive momentum of orbit.”
That could explain why China or Russia is not building such type of plane based on 1959 technology.
China is developing a wave rider version.
        From the above article:

” Building a useful plane that’s faster than Mach 5, or five times the speed of sound, is a difficult engineering challenge, but a team of researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences has a plan to pull it off.

The trick to making these faster-than-Mach 5, or hypersonic, vehicles is to build a “waverider”-shaped airframe and top it off with a “high-pressure capture wing,” the researchers wrote in a December 2017 letter to the journal Science China. ”
Hypersonic missiles are a great threat which USA has little defense right now.

Now that numerous Chinese scientists and engineers have gone back to their homeland because of American discrimination, distrust and only for whites freedom, democracy and human rights, the Americans can’t innovate much on their own and are now more active trying to steal advance technologies from China. The Americans aren’t really worried much about technologies they don’t have because they have been very successful stealing technologies for decades. And all the while accusing China of stealing and now admits they are behind China. Boo hoo hoo 😭
