Comparison Shows Improvement in J-20’s Engines

The photo below shows the climb-up of a J-20 with new engines.

This ‘engine improvement’ sounds like hype. What China needs to do is come out into the open with the J-20 and have it cruise in the East China Sea where it can be tracked showing it super cruising. That would eliminate ALL doubts about its performance.
Why does the PLAAF continue to hide?

The answer could have something to do with pilot training of a complete sqaudron of J-20 jets. It is Chinas first stealth plane with state of the features and avionics. Why patrol with a plane with pilots that can’t competetently war with yet.
The F-22 just flew its first combat mission spetember 24th, 2014, bypassing chances to strike Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. I didn’t look hard but I couldn’t find an article of a second mission. Should we doubt the f-22 more than the j-20 based on it’s lack of usage?

No one knows the actual performance and capability of the J-20 or F22 since these are classified military information. You may want to say that China is incapable of technological innovation or invention.
But going by the following achievements: having the world’s fastest supercomputer for two years in a row and using indigenous chips, satellite for quantum encryption (world’s first), core module of space station staying in orbit for the past three years, successful missions into space and to the moon, world’s largest telescope etc, one should hesitate to doubt China’s technological prowess, especially, the ability to put a stealth fighter like J20 in serious competition with F22 or F35.

Who cares about American ‘doubts’ or to be precise, ‘fears’. How do they know that the J-20s have not been flying patrol at all on East/South China Sea? Just because the J-20 cannot be tracked, doesn’t mean it’s not there. That’s what being stealth is all about, to avoid detection. Does the American need that stupid book, ‘Stealth for Dummies’ to understand ‘Stealth’? The American should invest on better radar to be able to track the J-20. Chinese radar can easily track American ‘stealth’ F-22. Why would the American still keep using their obsolete radar? Budget problem? Or R&D problem. Next time the J-20 will fly pass by white house’s porch and their radar won’t even detect anything.
